“Since 2019, Lisa Brown has led the Department of Commerce with strategic prowess, practicality, and poise. As director Lisa worked tirelessly to ensure that Commerce delivered needed programs, funding, and resources of all kinds for communities across our state. Lisa is a dear friend, and I am sad to hear that she is stepping down, but I know Washingtonians will continue to feel the positive impacts of her service to the state for years to come. I am deeply grateful for her many contributions and wish her well in the future.”
