About the Lt. Governor

As Lieutenant Governor, Habib’s duties fall both within the Executive and Legislative branches of state government. He serves as President of the State Senate, as Acting Governor when the Governor is out of state or unable to serve, is a key player in Economic Development and International Relations, and creates high-impact initiatives to expand opportunity to all Washingtonians, creating a more robust state economy.
