Lt. Governor Discusses Washington-Mexico Relationship, Trade, and More with Mexico’s Consul-General

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor was honored to welcome the Mexican consul-general, based in Seattle, on Friday.

In a wide-ranging conversation held within the lieutenant governor’s office at the Capitol, Lt. Gov. Habib and Mexican Consul-General Roberto Dondisch discussed the fight against climate change, the Washington-Mexico relationship, and the importance of Mexican heritage in the Washington state community.

The meeting was an important part of the office’s ongoing commitment to fostering strong international relationships, putting Washington state in prime position for international trade opportunities, and creating a more prosperous Washington for all.
